At Metta Terre, we are committed to creating opportunities and support for neurodivergent adults. Our upcoming hockey tournament is a great way to get involved and support our mission. Create a team for $825.00 or join as an individual for $75.00. All proceeds will directly support our programs and the community we serve. What is Metta Terre?
Welcome to our community of parents, teachers, caregivers, artists, siblings, allies, volunteers, and neurodivergent young adults. We started with respite programs and have since grown to include camp and respite programs. Our ultimate goal is to establish a land-based community where we can live, work, and learn together in a passive and sustainable way. We believe in stewarding the land, fostering friendship, and providing a sense of purpose and belonging for all.
About us
Metta Terre is a way of life, where each person, according to ability contributes what they can towards the well being of the others and the land that supports us all.
We are a worldwide community of like minded people coming together to create change.
Our philosophy is partly based on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, Anthroposophony and on the working life share Camphill movement started by Dr. Karl Konig in 1929.
Projects
Join us for a weekend or week-long getaway designed to empower and support neurodivergent adults, their caregivers, parents, and families. Our active programs, set in peaceful and natural environments, create a sense of community and belonging that fosters laughter, friendship, and growth. Our sleep-away locations offer breathtaking settings, and our adventurous programs push boundaries, creating unforgettable experiences that empower individuals to reach their full potential.
There are many ways to get involved with Metta Terre and support our initiatives. You can donate your cash, time, assets, land, or even invest in our farm. Your support helps us create sustainable and meaningful change in communities. We are registered with Canada Revenue Authority and can provide tax receipts for all donations. You can make a difference today.
We believe in a holistic approach to life, supporting the acceptance and promotion of the uniqueness of each human being and the caring and healing of the earth using natural and sustainable methods.
